A truly wonderful experience, enjoyed the freedom to wander the grounds and learn the hospitals history and take in its unique and awe inspiring construction.

圣保罗现代主义建筑群是加泰罗尼亚现代主义运动的先锋建筑师Lluís Domènech i Montaner的杰作。在20世纪初期，他设想的医院不仅可以治愈病人的身体，还可以治愈他们的精神。

由此产生的圣保罗医院是一个拥有16个凉亭、静谧花园、马赛克艺术、圆顶天花板、俏皮柔和的墙壁和多色瓷砖的综合体。这栋建筑感觉不像医院，更像是一个超现实的治疗场所。连接各个建筑的地下隧道也对游客开放。
