The representations in the ad for this tour were false. My wife and I were left with the impression that we would stop in Greve in Chianti for a visit (maybe up to 30 minutes). We traveled past...
The representations in the ad for this tour were false. My wife and I were left with the impression that we would stop in Greve in Chianti for a visit (maybe up to 30 minutes). We traveled past the village but never stopped. Our tour guide at first said we would, then changed his mind. This was a great disappointment since we booked the tour based upon what we read in the on-line advertisement.
As for the wineries, the first one was great and it was in the Greve area. However, it took a 1/2 hour plus to get to the second one which was located on the top of a hill and we were told was close to Siena, not what we wanted. This winery was OK, but not worth the travel this far. Had the representations stated that we were only visiting wineries in the Greve area, but not stopping, my wife and I would never taken this tour. What a disappointment
