The card was pretty useful. We bought a group pass for up to five people and it saved us money, as well as inspiring us to visit some interesting places we otherwise might not have (EL-DE House in particular). You'll have to visit several museums/restaurants to get your money's worth, but if you're looking to make the most of your trip this is a pretty good way to do it. Can't give it five stars because exchanging our e-tickets for the physical pass took longer than we thought, but overall it was definitely worth it.

Firstly I preordered my 48hrs Koln Card, £7.81 (Sept 2023 prices) before I used it in Cologne and it was very easy to do that, When I got to Cologne Central Station I made my way to The Koln Tourism Shop , Oppsite the Cathedral, Showed my passport to the lady at the counter and I received my card, I signed her document to say I've received it.. I only used it for transportation on the S bahn and U bahn in Cologne, After I validated it it was very easy to use..I know you can get discounts on many museums & Restaurants & other cultural attractions and many more things.. I even used it to get to Cologne Airport before the time of the card expired..
