Très belle ballade en bateau le long des plages jusqu'à la grotte de Benagil. Les explications données lors de la ballade étaient intéressantes et le jeune homme qui nous les a donné avait beaucoup d'humour. Je recommande.

Sunset tour had to be cancelled unfortunately due to strong winds so rescheduled for an early afternoon (2pm) tour instead - was pleasantly surprised by how good it was! Communication with tour operators was very good hence why rescheduling was very easy and quick. Easy to spot the meeting point with the directions that were given and we checked in quickly by giving the person’s name that the booking was made. Shoes are taken off and left on a rack near the meeting point, also left bags and jackets that we didn’t need to take/ didn’t want to get wet. They check you in and give a life jacket to put on. Even though it wasn’t sunset, the weather was amazing, winds didn’t feel cold and a few splashes from the waves dried out very quickly during and after the tour (Maybe best to wear light clothes or bring a raincoat with a waterproof hood like some of the other smart travellers!) Two guides gave us a very detailed and fun tour and allowed us ample time to take pictures and videos whilst at the smaller caves. Reached Benagil cave after seeing the other caves about 35 mins into the tour, was quite busy due to people exploring the cave by kayaks and other tour boats nearby. This tour doesn’t allow people to get out of the boat due to safety reasons and also certain Portuguese laws that have to be abided by but was still really cool nonetheless to see it and take pictures on the boat. The guides also offered to take pictures of us. Once pictures had been taken, we were given a postcard for each traveller, taken back to the beach and safely given help to disembark the boat. The helpers took the life jackets off us and we grabbed our shoes, bags and jackets to leave. Overall a great, short but enjoyable experience. Boat trip itself was bumpy being on the waves (maybe don’t eat anything before the tour in case of sea sickness because tummy can feel weird with the bumpiness) but guides were very careful to not let us get too wet! Also the boat has space for 10 people but our boat only had 7 people so the tour guides told us we could all move one space back to ensure we didn’t get too wet as the front three seats are considered part of the “splash zone”!
