I left feeling unsatisfied. Your time inside is limited and after a brief introduction you can do wander around freely for 3/4 hour before being cajoled onto a dancefloor by an MC and then experiencing a loud audio/visual chronology of dance music spanning 5 or so decades condensed into about 10 or so minutes. Some fun activities between the intro and the conclusion, although I chose a "how to DJ" tutorial which was poor - badly explained and the turntable/controls didn't function very well. We found ourselves outside just over an hour after entering. A tacky, superficial experience that only scratches the surface of the subject. It could be so much more.

Subpar. I got tickets for the last visit timeframe for the day. Even though their weren't many people there at the same time it was a challenge to get to use the some of the interactive pieces. It's not as great as it is presented on their social media but the content is good. The staff were a bit rude at the end turning off interactive features when there were 2 minutes left before the final show in the main room even though people were trying to use the wall-sized DJ board after two people dominated that feature the whole time. Also, do not buy via I Am Amsterdam link because they'll display a 2 beer ticket deal but when you get the receipt it's for one beer so you pay double what you would pay in person at the interactive museum. I was very excited to visit as a fan of EDM, but it disappointed in a few ways.
