Utmärkt
It was fantastic to have a look at Western Approaches - so crucial during WW2. My husband’s mother had been recruited to WA when she was 17 so very interesting to see what was involved!

It was brilliant, takes you back to that time and gives you a taste of what life was like working underground for a lot of hours at a time during the second world war..

Om: Western Approaches Museum
Western Approaches Museum är ett så autentiskt krigsmuseum som du sannolikt kommer att hitta. Under Liverpools stadskärna var denna en gång topphemliga bunker det strategiska navet där slaget om Atlanten ägde rum. Det har knappt förändrats sedan dörrarna stängdes 1945!
Besökare kan vandra från rum till hemligt rum och analysera originaldokument och verktyg som användes för att lokalisera fiendens platser och ge de allierade övertaget. Det finns även en av två överlevande telefoner som hade en direktlinje till Winston Churchills ökända War Rooms!
