Excelente
It was fantastic to have a look at Western Approaches - so crucial during WW2. My husband’s mother had been recruited to WA when she was 17 so very interesting to see what was involved!

It was brilliant, takes you back to that time and gives you a taste of what life was like working underground for a lot of hours at a time during the second world war..

O Western Approaches Museum é um museu de guerra tão autêntico quanto é provável que encontre. Sob o centro de Liverpool, este abrigo secreto outrora secreto era o centro estratégico onde a Batalha do Atlântico foi idealizada. Mal mudou desde que as portas se fecharam em 1945!
Os visitantes podem passear de cômodo em cômodo secreto, analisando documentos e ferramentas originais que foram usadas para identificar os locais inimigos e dar vantagem aos Aliados. Há ainda um dos dois telefones que tinham uma linha direta para as infames Salas de Guerra de Winston Churchill!
