Museum was interesting but all of the signage and information was only in German. Bring along a cellphone with internet so that you can at least listen to some of the info in English, or other...

Museu da Emigração de Hamburgo - Informações úteis
O Museu da Emigração de Hamburgo (BallinStadt) é uma antiga casa/abrigo temporário a meio caminho no Porto de Hamburgo, onde milhões de emigrantes europeus ficaram antes de fazer a longa viagem até às Américas. Os edifícios foram destruídos pelos nazis em 1934 e mais tarde recuperados à sua forma original no início dos anos 2000. Hoje em dia serve como exposição permanente para lembrar os milhões que atravessaram em direção ao Novo Mundo.
