Great tour, fantastic guide (Muhamad) with thorough historical knowledge who made us understand better the Turkish history and culture and who answed all the questions we had.

We had a great time with Muhammed! He was very knowledgeable about the sites and gave us many vignettes about the mosques. Was also really nice just kicking back and chatting with him about life...

Heb je maar een paar uur in Istanboel? Als er één locatie is om naar toe te gaan, is dat het Sultanahmet-plein. Als het historische hart van het oude Istanboel heeft het een aantal van de belangrijkste monumenten in de stad.

Vanaf hier bereik je gemakkelijk de meeste architectonische bezienswaardigheden, zoals de Blauwe Moskee, het Hagia Sofia Museum en de Basilica Cisterne.

Op het Sultanahmet-plein vind je vele banken, fonteinen en parkjes. Trams lopen er dwars door heen voor gemakkelijke toegang tot lokale attracties.
