Bought this as a combined package with Doge’s palace tour but this was entirely different instructions, but it was not clear and we were very frustrated. Was not clear that we had to exchange our tickets and be walked to the entrance line. The audio tour didn’t work. And once inside the only thing you can do is walk briefly around the ground floor unless you want to pay additional fees to go into other areas.

Information was clear and was easy to find where to go upon arrival. The tour itself was very well done and fascinating.

Our first experience with the Doges Palace tickets was excellent, we entered at premises with emailed barcode, excellent guide, no problems - but second part was poor due to not realising we had to go join a tour in an office away from the Bascillica. The office staff were chaotic, there was no clear way they knew who was on which trip and we kept having to go back in to see what was happening. The audio part was a download to your phone from a QR code, but they didn’t check it was working and it wasn’t until we were in the Basillica that I discovered mine was not - so frustrating as to why it could not be just a barcode like the Doges Palace, We did not need a guide to show us the way back to where we had just come from.
