Picking up the ticket in advance makes your day seamless. It works with the subway to Placa Espana and then the train etc. to Montserrat and back.

Questa magnifica meraviglia di 4.000 piedi è facilmente riconoscibile da lontano per la sua cima "seghettata" da cui prende il nome. A 2.380 piedi sul livello del mare, il monastero benedettino di Santa Maria de Montserrat gode di una posizione straordinaria, circondato da un paesaggio naturale indimenticabile.

Il monastero è stato un centro di ritiro spirituale per quasi mille anni. Visiteremo prima la basilica, dove si trova la Vergine Santa Maria di Montserrat, patrona della Catalogna.
