Many people plan to spend at least 2 days making the most of their PortAventura tickets. Be sure to drink a lot of water as you enjoy the attractions and leave some of the best rides for lunchtime when things calm down a little.
In short, yes! There are 20 restaurants inside PortAventura World, and each fits into its themed world. There's something to suit everyone's tastes, from American fare to Mexican, Chinese, Polynesian and Mediterranean.
Your PortAventura tickets buy you fun in the almost-guaranteed sun, thanks to the Mediterranean climate. Think hot, dry summers and mild winters.
If you don't mind a few degrees of extra heat, the best time to visit PortAventura is between June and August. The hottest month of the year tends to be July, when the park experiences an average daily maximum of 31°C and an average low of 21°C.
The park is strict about its "no food from the outside" rule. You might have your bags checked at the entrance, so if in doubt, leave all your food in the lockers before entering.
Animals are not permitted inside PortAventura World, with the exception of guide dogs. There are boarding kennels if you need to leave your pets at the entrance.
It's possible to get a direct train from Barcelona Sants station to PortAventura, and the journey takes around 1 hour 15 minutes.
