Meet your guide outside the Café Regalia at 1 rue de la Convention, 75015 Paris. Café Regalia is right next to the metro entrance/exit for Javel André Citroen (line 10). Your guide will be waiting for you by the café on the corner wearing an orange cap and an orange badge on an orange lanyard. If you come by taxi ask the driver to drop you at the Café Regalia. If you arrive by RER train please note you will need to cross the main road on the left as you exit and go to the café on the corner of the rue de la Convention. Please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before your tour departure time. We have to take a train to Versailles and we cannot wait for any late arrivals.

Join a three-hour guided visit to the Chateau of Versailles, the most prestigious and famous royal palace in Europe. Departing from Paris, you will travel by train with your guide.

Follow in the footsteps of French royalty and walk through the glittering Hall of Mirrors, then explore the lavish state apartments and magnificent gardens.

Your guide will take you on a journey in the footsteps of the Kings and Queens of France. During the reign of Louis XIV – the Sun King – Versailles was the place to be and to be seen.

Learn how the Kings and Queens lived out their lavish lives in public, how they kept the gossiping courtiers under their thumb, and stole Italy’s thunder by making Versailles the artistic center of Europe.

Discover a typical day in the life of Marie Antoinette; you’ll quickly understand why she hated the palace so much! Your expert English-speaking guide will bring the extravagant lives of the royal family and the French court at Versailles to life.
