Standing proudly among the North Shore Mountains, the 1,200 meter-tall Grouse Mountain is a year-round wonderland of fantastic outdoor activities. In the summer, enjoy hearty hikes with vast sweeping views, explore a wildlife refuge home to two grizzly bears, and see some lively lumberjack action.

Step into the state-of-the-art Skyride and be whisked up the mountain in total comfort, savour the magnificent sweeping valleys, and settle into the perfect mix of laid-back relaxation and sheer exhilaration. You'd better get used to it!

The alpine area of Grouse Mountain is where the fun really begins. In summer, you'll be free to strike out on your own and explore the pine-lined mountaintop, join a guided eco-walk, or enjoy a host of organized activities.

During the summer Eco-Walks (Friday, Saturday, Sunday only), your guide will take you on a memorable 45-minute hike through beautiful forests around the Blue Grouse Lake area, regaling you with all you need to know about the local wildlife and ecosystem. It's as close to being in a wildlife documentary as it gets!

Still thirsty for outdoor adventure? Check out the live Birds in Motion demonstration, or visit Grinder and Coola— our two resident grizzly bears. You can see daily Ranger Talks about our two bears, as well as Owl Talks about our number of owls living on the mountain. Monty Python fans will definitely not want to miss the incredible Lumberjack Show. There's also a number of great things to do in our Peak Chalet, including great views, shopping, and dining options! What are you waiting for?

Definitely worth a trip! Watching the bears was lovely - they seem very well cared for. The lumberjack show was also worth watching! Funny & well put together! We didn't eat up the mountain but we had a nice walk around & enjoyed the views. The high ropes & zip wire all looked like fun experiences but you do need to allow a further 2-3 hours to fit them in too as extra activities!
