The Pass Nîmes la Romaine provides access to some of the most spectacular and well-preserved Roman ruins in France, allowing visitors to step back in time and explore the ancient world in a truly immersive way.

As you make your way along the path, you'll be greeted by a series of stunning Roman structures, including the famous Arena of Nîmes, which dates back to the 1st century AD. This magnificent amphitheater is one of the best-preserved examples of Roman architecture in the world, and it's a truly awe-inspiring sight to behold. The arena is so well-preserved that it's still used for concerts and events today, making it a living piece of history.

Further along the pass, you'll encounter the Maison Carrée, an exquisite Roman temple that was built in the 1st century AD. This beautifully preserved building features intricate carvings, elegant columns, and an impressive pediment that's adorned with stunning sculptures. The temple's interior is equally impressive, with a vaulted ceiling and intricate frescoes that depict scenes from Roman mythology.

As you continue along the pass, you'll come across other fascinating Roman ruins, including the impressive Tour Magne, a towering structure that offers breathtaking views of the city, and the Temple of Diana, a serene and peaceful sanctuary that was once dedicated to the goddess of the hunt.
