Accessibility:

The museum is partly accessible to people with disabilities. The main entrance, museum shop, auditorium, toilets, and exhibition halls are fully accessible to all visitors. Plus there's an elevator in the new wing. However, the 17th-century house of Rembrandt has no elevator or other facilities available for disabled people and is therefore not very accessible.

I did not see the exhibition because security insisted I put my very small handbag in a locker. Not a backpack but bag containing a purse, mobile phone , credit cards and passport. I would not take a risk. I told the man it contained a lot of cash .They said it was crowded so they needed all bags taken away which was ridiculous. 2 English ladies leaving told me that the security man they saw told them he would "not see" if they put their handbags under their coats and they went through. What a waste of money and big disappointment.

Excellent
Veri well organised and, the audio guide is very friendly user (which is not always the case). In an historical point of view the visit is very interesting to understand the history of this country.
