About: Strawberry Field

Made famous by the Beatles' hit song, "Strawberry Fields Forever", Strawberry Field is a Salvation Army property and visitor attraction in the Liverpool suburb of Woolton. It operated as a children's home between 1936 and 2005, but continues to be used by the Salvation Army for other purposes.

Strawberry Field is now a visitor attraction that provides guided tours, and hosts an immersive exhibition with archival footage and photographs to tell the story of John Lennon's childhood years, as well as inspirational stories of the children's home.
