Dust off your explorer hat and venture into the wild heart of the Pacific Northwest, with a guided tour of Olympic National Park. This rugged landscape of mossy rain forests, azure lakes, and towering mountains is home to an abundance of stunning wildlife and some of the most breathtaking scenery in North America.
Take a ferry across Puget Sound to the Olympic Peninsula (keeping an eye out for orcas on the way) and explore the vast majesty of this untamed wilderness.
Watch deer and elk graze in sweeping meadows at Hurricane Ridge, hear the choir of birdsong and squeaking marmots, then head west to the fern-lined glacial beauty of Lake Crescent. Depending on the time of year, you might even catch a glimpse of a black bear, or a jolly otter or two!
See the dramatic spectacle of Marymere Falls cascading down from 27 meters, and the magnificent Aurora Peak looming overhead. Your guide will be your own private David Attenborough, giving an extensive overview of the local ecosystem and its many furry and feathery inhabitants.
No excursion into the wild would be complete without proper supplies! Luckily fresh coffee and tea is prepared alongside lots of food, so you have all the fuel you need for more adventuring.
There’s a possibility to take a ferry across the waves of the Puget sound to the Olympic Peninsula to explore the Northern portion of the national park. Or you could journey to the Southern end of the park, stopping at an amazing wildlife refuge before exploring the national park and Washington’s coast
