Explore the vast majesty of the American wilderness with a guided expedition into the heart of Mt. Rainier National Park. Hike alongside an experienced guide through ancient cedar forests, sweeping valleys, and subalpine meadows under the colossal shadow of Mount Rainier. See bubbling hot springs, and feel the cool mist blowing off huge tumbling waterfalls. Hear the chorus of birds, woodland critters, and the wind through the trees, and keep an eye out for beautiful free-roaming wildlife.

With cougars, black bears, bald eagles, coyotes, bobcats, raccoons, porcupines, skunks, marmots, and hundreds of other species of wild fauna wandering these parts, this is an incredible chance to see some of America's most wonderful wildlife in their natural habitat.

Your intrepid guide will provide your own personal nature documentary as you traverse the local ecosystem, and lead you through safe passages along the rugged terrain of Washington State's wild backcountry. There's plenty of food, coffee, and refreshments to keep your sense of adventure well nourished along the way.

The tour is provided throughout the year, and depending on when you book, you could see two entirely different landscapes. In summer the subalpine meadows and forests are lush and buzzing with insects and grazing deer - in winter, you'll crunch across fresh snowfall while owls and eagles scan the frozen hillsides for signs of scurrying fast-food!

Spellbinding beauty abounds all year around, so if you find yourself sleepless in Seattle, this roundtrip adventure to the fresh open air of Mt. Rainier should sweeten your dreams.
