San Francisco: Greater Bay Area By Seaplane With Sunset

Nothing says intrepid explorer quite like flying on a seaplane! Hear the engines rumble and rotors whirr and take to the skies on a buzzing light aircraft. Sip a glass of California champagne and drink in the magical scenery of rugged coastline, iconic landmarks, and the breathtaking landscapes all in one fell swoop.

As the sun kisses the California coast good night, take off from a seabase in the sleepy Bayside village of Sausalito, and soar over Golden Gate National Reserve - out along the rocky coastline beyond. Savor it all with a glass of fine California champagne.

Cruise through the air currents above the white sandy shoreline of Stinson Beach, then over the towering ancient redwoods of Muir Woods, and finally back over the legendary Golden Gate Bridge herself, glinting in the sunset.

Then it's on to Crissy Field, over the bustling metropolis of downtown San Francisco, and AT&T Park – home of the Major League Baseball team San Francisco Giants.

Glide over the infamous island prison of Alcatraz and pass by the historic Angel Island – the immigrant gateway to the West, before making a smooth landing back in Sausalito's Richardson Bay.

Due to the location of the seaplane base, the seaplane is required to be back in the dock by 19:00 every day, including daylight saving time, thus not being able to fully provide a sunset experience during spring and summer (March-October). It is still a romantic and great experience!
