The Mission of the San Diego Automotive Museum is to tell the story of the social and technological past, present, and future of motorized vehicles throughout its collections, exhibitions, and educational programs.
Current displays include hot rods, muscle cars, and Indian and Harley Davidson motorcycles dating back over 100 years. Additional collectables include a Shelby Cobra and two Shelby Mustangs, one personally owned by Carroll Shelby himself. Louie Mattar’s Fabulous $75,000 Car, a 1947 Cadillac modified to drive non-stop and in 1952 traveled over 6,000 miles in seven days, is here.
