General information:

  • There are wheelchair-friendly routes through the gardens and palace

  • You can only buy tickets for the Royal Bedroom exhibition on-site, on the day of your visit, for €5.50

  • The palace is open for night visits from March to October

  • During the summer, visit in the morning to beat the Spanish heat, and bring water and sunscreen

  • You can plan your route through the garden with the Alcázar's interactive map

Free entry

  • Admission is free for disabled people, children under 13, and Seville residents with a valid ID

  • On Mondays from April to September, you can enter for free from 18:00 – 19:00

  • On Mondays from October to March, you can enter for free from 16:00 – 17:00

Fantastisch paleis. De route begeleiding met de app en de aanduiding in het paleis kan zeker opnieuw ingericht worden. Het is regelmatig een zoekplaatje in het paleis naar de juiste route.

La visite est absolument géniale. Des jardins fantastiques, un intérieur magnifique. Prévoir 3h de visite. Même avec des enfants jeunes, nous y avons passé 2h et sommes restés sur notre faim !

The Royal Alcázar of Seville is a royal palace in Seville, built for the Christian king Peter of Castile. A preeminent example of Mudéjar architecture in the Iberian Peninsula, is renowned as one of the most beautiful. It's the oldest royal palace still in use in Europe, and was registered in 1987 by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
