There are catacombs all over Rome. The Catacombs of St. Callixtus are some of the most important, as they mark the final resting place for many Christian martyrs and early popes.

On this guided tour, you'll explore the most intriguing sections of the enormous 3rd-century catacombs, where the remains of half a million Christians were entombed. Find out the meaning behind mysterious symbols etched into stone, and walk around ancient crypts. This 40-minute tour is a great way to introduce yourself to the Eternal City's subterranean story and religious timeline.

Show your smartphone voucher at the ticket office of the catacombs and you'll be directed to your guide.
