The story of the Jewish community in Prague is long and troublesome. Their torrid treatment in the city began as early as 1096, and continued on and off through the centuries. But for the allied victory over the Nazis, Hitler would have succeeded in turning the Jewish Quarter into a symbol of his wicked ideology, a “museum of an extinct race”.

Explore Josefov, one of the world's most important Jewish neighborhoods, and hear its turbulent history from a knowledgeable, Spanish-speaking guide.

The tour provides insights into local life and traditions, from the 10th century through to the present day.

Go inside its many synagogues, including the Maisel and Pinkas, all of which are sites of Prague's Jewish Museum. The tour also includes access to one of the largest Jewish cemeteries in Europe, home to more than 12,000 tombstones.
