How to get there

  • From Naples by car: take highway 45 towards Tirrenia/SR18 and proceed to the Pompeii Overst exit. Continue on the SS18 towards Tirrenia Inferiore and follow the signs to Piazza Esedra. The meeting point will be on your right.
  • By train: Get off at the Pompeii Scavi Villa Dei Misteri stop. With the station behind you, go right and go straight for 350 meters. You will see the meeting point.

Nous avons fait le musée avant de visiter Pompei et ne l'avons pas regretté. Cela ne prend pas beaucoup de temps (une demi heure) avec une guide qui parlait français (mieux qu'un audioguide). Et...
Nous avons fait le musée avant de visiter Pompei et ne l'avons pas regretté. Cela ne prend pas beaucoup de temps (une demi heure) avec une guide qui parlait français (mieux qu'un audioguide). Et ça nous a permis d'avoir une vision plus claire des ruines que nous allions arpenter ensuite. Encore plus utile s'il n'y a pas de visite guidée de prévue sur le site.

Super expérience. Intéressant à faire pour comprendre la richesse de la ville et sa destruction. Durée +-30 min. Le guide explique bien et en français.
