Step into the iconic Wollman Rink, right in the heart of Manhattan's Central Park. The rink is a perfect place to go for a skate as the weather turns colder. This iconic rink is part of cinematic history – skate on the same rink featured in silver screen classics including Love Story, Serendipity, and even Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.

Just a snowball's throw from the swanky 5th Avenue and the renowned Plaza Hotel, glide around the rink with the stunning NYC skyline as your backdrop. You're welcome here no matter your skill level. After you skate, enjoy a steaming cup of hot chocolate at the charming Wollman Cafe.

  • Present your smartphone voucher at the ticket booth
  • All guests will need to sign a waiver onsite
  • The rink is located near the southeast corner of Central Park. The closest entrance is at 59th St and 6th Ave

Please note:

  • The ice rink will be closed periodically throughout the day for ice resurfacing. This will happen approximately every 3 hours on weekdays and every 2 hours on weekends
  • You can bring your own skates if you want
  • Skate aids are available for $25 for children aged 12 and under, and under 4 feet tall. These aids give them something to lean on while they learn how to skate
