Combine Neuschwanstein Castle with other Schwangau favorites. Some things are better together.
Neuschwanstein Castle is a 19th-century Romanesque revival castle located on a hill above the village of Hohenschwangau near Füssen in southwest Bavaria, Germany. It was commissioned by Ludwig II of Bavaria and inspired by the works of Richard Wagner and German fairytales. The castle influenced the design of the Disney logo and is also known as the "Sleeping Beauty" castle. It is a notable example of the German Romantic movement, built at great expense during Ludwig’s reign.
