O museu dos vitrais é um espaço bonito, no entanto achei demasiado minimalista e por isso caro para o que nos mostra.

About: Museu do Vitral

The Museu do Vitral is dedicated to remarkable works of glass art created by Portugal’s oldest and internationally renowned studio – Atelier Antunes.

For thousands of years, artists have found inspiration in glistening glass. It has inspired the lives of the faithful through religious narratives in churches and cloisters, celebrated family and political ties in town halls, and even decorated the windows of private homes.

The Museu do Vitral exhibition includes masterpieces in traditional stained glass, as well as decorative panels, striking abstract art installations, original sketches, maquettes, and a kaleidoscope made of 400 colored pieces!

Biester Palace

Biester Palace is an 18th-century palace located in the historic center of Sintra, Portugal, and is considered one of the most important examples of Romantic architecture in the country. It was built in 1782 by the Portuguese nobleman José Luís de Moura. The palace was built in the neoclassical style with a symmetrical plan and surrounded by a walled garden. Its most striking features include the two-story façade with a pediment, the crenellated towers and the various chimneys, which are adorned with Rococo-style sculptures. The interior of the palace is also decorated in the neoclassical style and features several rooms, including a grand staircase, an impressive library and a formal dining room. The palace was classified as a National Monument in 1910, and it is now open to the public.

Catedral do Porto

The Cathedral of Porto is a Romanesque-Gothic building dating from the 12th and 13th centuries. During the 17th and 18th centuries, the Cathedral went through major renovations that resulted in Baroque features, adding to the diversity of styles in the construction. Inside, it still retains the appearance of a fortress-church, with battlements. The beautiful rose window form the 12th century and the loggia or side porch designed by Nicolau Nasoni in the 18th century, facing the city, are two of the most beautiful features of the Sé.
