My goal was to see the Doge's Palace, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the museums under the Venice Museum Pass. The Museo Fortuny was a wonderful stop. This was a gothic palace turned museum featuring the textiles, photography, and artwork by Mariano Fortuny. It is definitely worth visiting.

The glass is wonderful! Had a little accident in gift store - my card got charged buy cashier said that it was declined. Money came back within an hour.
