Phi Phi Islands are the quintessential vision of paradise – giant limestone rocks emerge from turquoise waters, white sand beaches surrounded by nothing but nature, and tranquil warm weather year round.
During this full-day trip you’ll be whisked away from your hotel in Krabi in the early morning, before hopping on a comfortable speed boat that will skim you across the water toward Phi Phi Islands.
Stop for snorkelling at the tiny, flat island of Mai Pai – also known as Bamboo Island. This small space is covered by lush vegetation with a strip of white sand on every side and a reef that spreads out some 500 metres from the shore.
After spying on tropical fish, continue your cruise to Phi Phi Leh, slowly passing Viking Cave to see where Phi Phi bird’s nest soup (a soup made from edible bird’s nests) is harvested.
Next stop, the breathtaking Pileh Lagoon with 100-meter-high vertical cliffs rising from the water, and Loh Sama Bay. These locations are sure to leave you stunned at how beautiful nature can be.
Depending on how busy the season is, you may have the chance to walk on Maya Bay Beach, the location of the hit film The Beach which is accessible only from the floating pier in the back. (This is dependent on whether the daily quota of visitors has been exceeded or not.)
Finish the tour by spotting monkeys at the 150 metre long strip of white powdery sand at Monkey Beach, then enjoy a delicious Thai style lunch on Phi Phi Don before returning to the mainland.
