Zuerst ging es Husafell 30 Minuten mit dem Reisebus zum Basislager, wo auf den Gletscherbus umgestiegen wurde. Dieser fuhr dann in circa 25 Minuten sehr langsam über den Gletscher zum Eingang der Eishöhle. Bereits in dieser Zeit wurden wir von zwei Guides betreut, die uns viele Informationen über den Gletscher und den Bau der Gletscherhöhle gaben.
Im Eingangsbereich der Gletscher Güler bekamen wir alle Spikes für die Schuhe, um ein unfallfreies gehen zu garantieren.
In der Gletscherhöhle gab es auch wieder viele Informationen zu den Eisschichten, Vulkanausbrüchen, Gletscherspalten etc.
Jederzeit konnten Fragen gestellt werden.
Die Tour war unaufgeregt und un anstrengend.
Außerhalb der Höhle konnten wir aufgrund Nebels, Windes und leichten Schneefalls wenig erkennen. Schade. Aber so ist das eben in Island.
