Next, visit Bampton, known for its role in the Downton Abbey series. See the church, Matthew Crawley's mother's house, and the hospital. Bampton is a quintessential British village, a hidden treasure.

Continue to Highclere Castle, made famous by Downton Abbey. Built by Sir Charles Barry, it is the home of the Earls of Carnarvon. Tour the main hall, library, and sitting rooms featured in the series.

After the tour, stroll through the parklands designed by Lancelot “Capability” Brown, or relax with tea and cake in a tea room. Each customer receives a copy of Lady Carnarvon's autobiography as a memorable souvenir. Return to London by approximately 19:00.
