Excellent
What an amazing place to see. From the time we got off the train til we arrived it was so easy to find. Our minds were blown once inside so much to see and explore WOW love it will be going back

It was a great place to visit. The only reason it isn't 5 stars is the audio guide didn't load properly. We just used the codes on site to download a guide instead.

Both towns were destroyed by volcanic flows in 79 AD. Pompeii is well-preserved but Herculaneum is even more so - the eruption preserved doors, bedding, and even food here. This UNESCO World Heritage Site allows you to explore several villas and taverns and examine the mosaics and frescoes preserved for centuries by volcanic water, ash, and debris.
