Die Führung ist absolut ausnahmslos zu empfehlen, tatsächlich ergibt eine Besichtigung nur mit Führer wirklich Sinn, denn ansonsten ist es einfach nur ein weiteres beeindruckendes Gebäude ohne Geschichte. Unser Guide Jaime war ein großartiger enthusiastischer Führer, welcher sein Fachwissen verpackt als Geschichte mit Begeisterung vermitteln konnte. Seine Art hat den Besuch der Kathedrale und Königskapelle zu einem Highlight nicht nur Granadas, sondern unseres gesamten fünfwöchigen Urlaubs in Spanien werden lassen. The grand Granada Cathedral is the seat of the Archdiocese of Granada. This eye-catching building is an evocative reminder of the city's past. It's easy to spot: just look for the towering Spanish Renaissance-style architectural masterpiece in the center of town.

It took several different architects to complete the building, and even so, they collectively managed to finish only one of the two towers they had planned. Still, its lofty interior, many detailed chapels, and grand altar are all worth admiring.
