Whether you're intent on finding Nessie or just want to soak up the beautiful surroundings of the Scottish Highlands, this Loch Ness tour from Edinburgh is for you.

Departing from Edinburgh, head north past the imposing ramparts of Stirling Castle and drive through the Trossachs National Park, known as Rob Roy country. Cross the wilds of Rannoch Moor and stop at the dramatic Glencoe, infamous for the 1692 massacre.

Journey through Fort William, passing Ben Nevis, Britain's highest mountain, before entering the Great Glen. Arrive in Fort Augustus on the banks of Loch Ness and enjoy a boat cruise on the legendary loch.

On the return trip, pass Loch Laggan and climb the wild Drumochter Pass in the Cairngorms National Park. Travel south into Perthshire, a land of forests, rivers, and mountains, with a stop in a wee village. Continue over the Firth of Forth to view the spectacular Forth Bridges before returning to Edinburgh.
