Self-guided tour

Take a "sick" day and head to Chester's grossest family attraction, Sick to Death, where your mortal sack of bones will be transported on a reality-check through the world of medical achievements... and failures.

Laugh as you learn how Chester dealt with ailments and diseases over the centuries. Examine the reason why autopsies were essential in furthering our understanding of the human body, and even try performing one yourself! Find out why plague doctors wore that weird-looking mask, and explore the link between magic and medicine. Before you leave, will you dare enter the TURDIS, the only time-travelling toilet in existence?

Ticket must be shown on arrival.

Poor
It was ok, but some of the items laid out for people to try didn't work, and the experience didn't last long at all, done in less than half an hour

Excellent
Easy to obtain the tickets but only spent five minutes there, as sensitive 8 year old was traumatised by the autopsy. We had to leave and were not the only family in the same situation.

Good
It was enjoyable and different (as long as you like that kind of thing😁) I liked the interaction with the reception when we went in. It was also informative but you haven't got to mind reading...
