Ceauşescu Mansion was the home of Romania's former Communist dictator, Nicolae Ceauşescu, and his wife Elena Ceauşescu. Now a museum, the lavish villa was stormed in 1989 by anti-communist revolutionaries who were shocked to find the opulent interior of the abode, at a time when most Romanians lived under extreme austerity.
