Easily digestible Boston history and award-winning food? You'll wanna make sure you get a slice of the action.

The guys at North End Pizza Tours know that education is worst-served to those with empty stomachs. So, channeling the spirit of the patriots, they came up with a revolutionary way to tell the stories of Boston's oldest neighborhood, affectionately dubbed Little Italy.

Walk where famous New Englanders like George Washington and Samuel Adams once walked, as you visit no less than five Freedom Trail sites.

Your guided tour includes the oldest home and church in the city (circa 1680 and 1723) and Clough House, where you'll salivate over old-world chocolate making demonstrations, with samples. You'll also get the opportunity to view and learn about the burial ground, Charlestown Navy Yard, USS Constitution and Bunker Hill memorial, all located at Copp's Hill.

Learning is hungry work – once you've finished wandering the cobbled streets of Boston's historic North End, it's time for pizza.

No tour is the same and the pizzerias vary each day. Tours may include a slice named in the Top 25 Best in America, or one browned in an almost 150-year-old brick oven, or even one from a restaurant voted into the Top 10 Best Italian restaurants on Earth.

Remember to vote for your favorite slice at the end of the tour to keep the pizzerias on their doughs!

Historic sites on the tour include:

  • Paul Revere House (c. 1680) and North Square
  • The Old North Church ($8 admission included) for a “One if by Land, Two if by Sea” talk
  • An old-world Chocolate Making demo – complete with samples!
  • Copp's Hill and Boston’s 2nd Oldest Burying Ground
  • The Bunker Hill Memorial, Charlestown Navy Yard and USS Constitution
  • Cancellation is possible until 72 hours before your visit.
  • Rescheduling is possible until 72 hours before your visit.
