The Belvedere Palace is in fact two palaces – Upper and Lower, both of which were built by Prince Eugene of Savoy.

These Habsburg palaces are the centerpieces of gorgeously landscaped gardens, with tiered fountains and statues nestled in the greenery. Both palaces are filled with priceless art in the permanent collections (including Gustav Klimt's The Kiss), as well as changing exhibitions.

Excellent
Wonderful building, helpful staff. I chose the earliest ticket option which meant that it was not too busy so got to enjoy the art, especially The Kiss before everyone else go to it.

Excellent
Loved it. The palace and museum was awesome, and the Klimt collection took it to the next level. Strongly recommend. I also loved the food market around the corner.
