Amerikanisches Museum für Naturgeschichte (AMNH): Plus One Ticket

Tickets were unusable and had to buy new ones at the museum. Do not use this service which I thought was linked to the AMNH but is not.

The Museum was fine but lots of old exhibitions collecting dust, the worst part of my experience was that buying through this Tiqets app cost me more money, I got less of an experience and the link to schedule the visit doesn’t work so I still had to do a long line once I got to the museum, so completely pointless purchasing through this dumb app.

Bought our +one tickets online to avoid the line. According to the museum, these were just vouchers and had to be converted into tickets at the cash register. So we still had to join the queue.... Mehr anzeigen

Bought our +one tickets online to avoid the line. According to the museum, these were just vouchers and had to be converted into tickets at the cash register. So we still had to join the queue. When we wanted to use the +one ticket, it turned out that we had only received the basic tickets. So again in line at an information point to receive that +one ticket. A time slot then had to be booked in order to use the +one ticket, which would again mean a queue. There was only an apology but no compensation for the +one ticket that we decided not to use anymore because we did not want to wait in line again. Also it's very strange to us that you go to 1 museum but then have to buy a different ticket for multiple places in the same museum. In addition, to be fobbed off with only an apology really makes no sense!
