My kids and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. The history of the place was wonderfully articulated by our guide, Aidan, who really brought the events, characters and stories to life. The view from the tower over Oxford is also worth the admission price alone. Highly recommended.

Sobre: Castell d'Oxford
El castell d'Oxford és un gran castell normand, parcialment en ruïnes, situat a Oxfordshire, Anglaterra. La major part del castell va ser destruït a la Guerra Civil anglesa, i al segle XVIII, els edificis restants s'havien convertit en la presó local d'Oxford.
La presó va tancar el 1996 i va ser remodelada com a hotel i atracció de visitants. Les restes medievals del castell, incloent-hi la Torre de Sant Jordi i la cripta, així com la motte, són edificis catalogats de grau I i un monument programat.
