It was nice to see the ancient homes. Some impressive parts of the buildings still remain. There a lot of pottery but unfortunately some of the items that were found were taken to museums instead of being displayed here. This is mostly ruin buildings but it’s still interesting and worth seeing especially if you want to find out about the history of the Island. It’s really easy to get there by bus. Just go to the bus station in town and look for the one with the name on it, they normally post the time table at the bus station aswell. More like coaches they are air conditioned and comfy. You pay once you are on and moving and the bus stop to come back is opposite the archaeological site. The volcano tour was good. The hot springs were nice and you do need so swim about 25 metres from role boat to it. There is no shade on the volcano and you need to take trainers as a lot of the path is either loose stones or large rocks. It is nice to see the landscape, it’s barren and dark. The guide also set the sense and gave lots of info. The last material was deposited last century…. Take lots of water and freeze some to take if you can. Great boat trip. Worth doing
