O Gabinete dos Gatos - Informações úteis

O Gabinete dos Gatos (Het KattenKabinet) é um miauseu situado na 'Gouden Bocht' (Curva Dourada) do Herengracht. Situado no andar nobre de uma mansão do século XVII, característica desta área dos canais, o Gabinete é mobiliado em estilo clássico e recheado de parafernália felina, incluindo gatos de verdade.

Esta mansão (assim como a adjacente) pertencia à família Van Eeghen. Ela foi comprada e restaurada em 1985 pela associação Herengracht 497, tornando-se um reino fantástico para amantes de gatos.

O local é facilmente acessível de qualquer ponto de Amsterdã por elétrico (tram) ou bicicleta.
