The Brancacci Chapel is a MUST for anyone seriously interested in the Renaissance. The frescoes, so exquisitely retained, are at the beginning. Tour was interesting, although film before hand was very good. Had trouble understanding tour guide at times because she would look away while talking. But the chapel was one of my highlights.

De Brancacci Kapel is een kapel in de Santa Maria del Carmine kerk in Oltrarno in Florence. Het is gebouwd in de tweede helft van de 13e eeuw en het staat bekend om het feit dat het de eerste meesterwerken uit de Italiaanse renaissance huisvest.
