Brilliant experience apart from large group of people on tour ahead of us which held us up due to the volume of people blocking progression through the rooms. Wonderful spaces They should reduce...
Brilliant experience apart from large group of people on tour ahead of us which held us up due to the volume of people blocking progression through the rooms. Wonderful spaces They should reduce the volume of the through flow of people and restrict it to say groups of ten and no more, Remarkable place!

The place is gorgeous, staff very nice but having a private tour at dimilar hours is really not nice, there are some small rooms where one cannot visit whilst they are there, a pity.

Hôtel de la Marine is a cultural icon in the heart of Paris. With a history stretching back to 1757, this grand monument on Place de la Concorde was home to Royal France's ever-moving collection of treasures and priceless furniture, before serving as the navy headquarters for almost 200 years.

Only opened to the public in 2021 after a major refurbishment, the Hôtel de la Marine is a lesser-known cultural gem in Paris, just a 15-minute walk from the Louvre and Musée d'Orsay.
