Mad about animals? Get your hands on Whipsnade Zoo tickets and explore one of Europe's biggest wildlife conservation parks. Discover different zones like Cheetah Rock, Passage Through Asia, Giraffe Heights and Lions of the Serengeti, ride the steam train or explore on foot. It's an animal-tastic adventure

Set in over 600 acres of the beautiful Chiltern Hills countryside, Whipsnade Zoo is an escape from the urban jungle. With over 10,000 amazing animals to discover, including rhinos, tigers, giraffes and elephants, there's a lot of reasons to be wild about Whipsnade Zoo.

With so much space to roam, you’ll want a full day out to enjoy the lions, tigers, rhinos, elephants, zebra, hippos, and giraffes out and about in their large outdoor enclosures. Not to mention the moose, European bison, and lynx that were once commonplace in Britain.

Set amidst rolling paddocks, the zoo's Asian elephants enjoy a custom-designed Centre for Elephant Care. Keep your eyes peeled for the newest member of the elephant herd, a baby girl born in August 2022.

Don’t miss the rockhopper and African black-footed residents of the penguin pool, with its epic views from the high Chiltern Downs over the surrounding countryside!

Discover new depths as you delve deeper into the fascinating underwater worlds of Whipsnade Zoo’s Aquarium, then bask in the tropical temperatures of the Butterfly House surrounded by hundreds of colourful butterflies.

Newly opened in 2021, the outdoor play area is perfect for burning off some energy. It’s time to let imaginations run wild as kids explore over 7,800m² of themed play area including bridges, swings, climbing frames, tunnels, sand play, mini safari jeep, and so much more!
