If you've picked up your bike in Old Town Alexandria and cycled to George Washington’s Mount Vernon, you can now opt to save your legs and travel back again by boat. Add on a ticket for the Miss Christin boat, and enjoy a breezy, narrated riverboat cruise back to Old Town. Boat departs Mount Vernon at 2:00pm; arrives in Alexandria at 3:30pm. The Riverboat operates on a limited schedule in the spring and fall; please check the calendar for availability.
Some tourists love to sit on a bus all day, but if you're a fan of feeling thee wind in your hair while you see the sights, this ticket is for you. Discover Old Town, Alexandria by bike, and cycle up to the home of the first president at Mount Vernon.
