De ontvangst was goed en prettig, spontaan. Wij waren met 3 personen en later nog 2 personen in het Stadhuis en voelde een beetje leeg en net of alles nog moet beginnen. Het leeft nog niet,...

De ontvangst was goed en prettig, spontaan. Wij waren met 3 personen en later nog 2 personen in het Stadhuis en voelde een beetje leeg en net of alles nog moet beginnen. Het leeft nog niet, hoewel alles er wel is. Maar denk wanneer de Titus Brandsma museum en Gijsbert Japicsxhus erbiij inkomt het wat meer gaat leven en misschien ook rondleidingen worden georganiseerd. Wij zijn oud Bolswarders, hadden er me van verwacht, maar wordt vast mee mettertijd. Belangrijk te investeren in actieve tentoonstellingen. Succes metde ontwikkelingen, maar nogmaals, zet het meteen goed neer, want eerste klap is een...... marten

In the rooms of the monumental town hall complex, the past comes to life in special collection presentations and remarkable key figures such as Titus Brandsma, Gysbert Japicx and Trijntje Hilarides.

Dilemmas In the new permanent presentation, visitors are confronted with dilemmas relating to this shared history. How do contemporary South Africans look at their history? Was Grutte Pier a saviour or a robber?
