On this tour, you will spend a full day exploring the most representative places in the north of Tenerife. Your first stop is Teide National Park, located in the heart of Tenerife and home to the highest peak in Spain: the volcano El Teide.
Here, you will pause for about 30 minutes to admire the impressive volcanic landscapes of Las Cañadas del Teide and the emblematic Roques de Garcia. After this visit, you will descend to Icod de los Vinos where you will have the opportunity to see the famous Drago Milenario, which is believed to be over 800 years old.
You will have free time to enjoy lunch, either on your own or by trying Canarian gastronomy at one of the recommended local restaurants.
Next, you will visit Garachico, a picturesque coastal town with a history marked by a volcanic eruption in 1706. Here, you will stroll through the streets of its historic center, recognized as a Cultural Heritage site and one of the most representative of the Canary Islands. Discover emblematic sites such as the natural pools of El Caletón, formed by lava flows, and the Castle of San Miguel, an ancient fortress that once defended the town from pirate attacks.
You will then follow the route into the vibrant nature of Teno Rural Park until you reach the hamlet of Masca, located between impressive valleys and ravines. Be charmed by the traditional architecture of this enclave, declared a Place of Ethnographic and Historical Interest and a Site of Cultural Interest.
Combine Mount Teide National Park with other Tenerife favorites. Some things are better together.
