Eric of Fogcutter. Knows and shows a range of things you would be unlikely to see on a bigger, more person tour. Great bloke too. The trip was worth every penny. Then he dropped us off for the Alcatraz tour and gave us our vouchers. Best day in San Francisco.

Die Tour mit dem Bus war gut. Die Informationen zur Bootstour waren mangelhaft. Es gab nur einen Voucher und dann musste man sehen wo man ein Ticket dafür bekommt und wann und wo die Fahrt mit dem Boot weiter ging. Den Audioguide gibt es nur als App, wozu eine Internet Verbindung nötig ist.

The term 'Painted Ladies' was first coined by writers Elizabeth Pomada and Michael Larsen in 1978, to describe the repainted polychrome Victorian and Edwardian houses of San Francisco. The use of multiple colors accentuates the architectural detailing of the buildings' facades, and the houses have become an emblematic part of San Francisco's cultural landscape.

Aquarium of the Bay is located at San Francisco's popular PIER 39. Its focus, as the name suggests, is local aquatic animals from the San Francisco Bay (and nearby waterways). There are three main exhibit areas, each with a specific point of focus.
